Resources For Pastors
One of the challenges of pastoring a smaller church is that you wear a lot of hats. One day you’re preparing a sermon, the next you’re conducting a funeral, planning a wedding, or dedicating a baby. Sometimes you’re asked to do something you’ve never done before, and you wish you had another pastor’s example to help you get started.
Over the years, I’ve learned that some of the most helpful resources in ministry have come from other pastors who were willing to share what worked for them.
That’s what this section is all about.
Here you’ll find examples of baby dedications, wedding ceremonies, funeral services, and other practical resources I’ve used throughout my years of ministry. They aren’t intended to be perfect formulas, but starting points you can adapt to your own congregation and circumstances.
Everything here is free to use. My prayer is that these resources will save you a little time, give you a little confidence, and help you minister more effectively to the people God has entrusted to your care.
